Yes, you do not need to do anything as our contracts roll over until either party terminates the agreement.

What do we tell our alarm company?

Answer

Once a start date has been agreed, you need to informyour Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) that surrey security isyour No. 1 Key Holder.

Can you arrange repairs in an emergency?

Yes, we can use approved 24-hour locksmiths, glaziers, plumbers and electricians or we can contact a tradesman of your choice if you prefer

What parts of the UK can we cover?

What type and level of insurance do you hold?

Surrey Security Service Ltd carries a full and comprehensive insurance portfolio. Our standard Public, Employers and Professional Liability indemnity is £ 10 million sterling. Details are available upon request.

What facilities do Ineedto provide to security officer?

You need to provide basic welfare facilities to security officer which includes a shelter with heating lighting and sitting facility.

How quickly can you deploya Security Guard at the locationI need?

Normally 2 to 8 hours’ notice is required if it’s not a remote location.

What is the training and vetting process for your Security Guards?

Answer

All Surrey security guards are SIA licensed and vetted to the BS 7858 standard.

I do not know how long I will need the Security Guard, how flexible can you be?

At Surrey security we are fully flexible to meet our client’sneeds,howeverwe require at least 24 hours’ notice if you wish to change the officer’s timing etc.

How you monitor security officer performance?

At Surrey security our 24/7 control room is using a state-of-the-art software and its mobile app to monitor guard’s performance which includes online reporting and monitoring of guard’spatrol in real time via QR tags.

Do you provide CCTV Installation?

Yes. We can provide a complete CCTV security solution, from system design through to installation and commissioning.

Do you sell site portable CCTV towers systems?

Answer

Yes. Our rapid deployment CCTV towers are becoming increasingly popular, especially on sites that have no mains power. We also have environmentally friendly solar powered tower options available.

Is it necessary for Security Guards to be licensed?

Answer

In the UK, every Security Guard is required to possess an SIA licence. Engaging in any security-related work without a valid SIA licence is against the law. Violating this requirement may lead to penalties, including up to 6 months of imprisonment or a fine of £5000.
